The Albion College Whitehouse Nature Center plays an important role in the classroom instruction and research of students and faculty at Albion College. In addition, its facilities and services are available to area schools and communities.

Visitors are encouraged to enjoy the following features and opportunities for quiet study and observation of nature:
- 25 acres of woodland
- Marshlands along the Kalamazoo River
- Six self-guided nature trails
- Several small ponds
- A tall-grass prairie
- The Adele D. Whitehouse Wildflower Garden
- The Ewell Stowell Arboretum of Michigan trees and shrubs

Location:
The Whitehouse Nature Center is located one quarter mile southeast of the Albion College main campus, on the East Branch of the Kalamazoo River at the end of the College athletic field. Parking is available at the Center's entrance, located at the east end of Farley Drive. Farley Drive is just south of the Erie-South Hannah Street intersection.
Hours:
The Center's 135 acres are open to the public from dawn to dusk all year round, seven days a week. The Interpretive Building is open from 10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
