At TLC Dog Training we can help you communicate better with your dog. Dogs are pack animals and need a strong leader to help them live happy, healthy balanced lives. After more than 30 years of working with dogs with family, friends as well as my own dogs, last fall I made things more professional and opened TLC Dog Training. We are devoted to helping you communicate better with your canine through positive reinforcement and clear expectations.

Our philosophy is similar to that of renowned dog trainer Cesar Millan. Dogs respond to leadership and that leadership must come from their owner. We specialize in 'pack training,' training owners to understand their role as Alphas in their home pack, thus establishing boundaries for their dogs and making everyone’s life easier.

Services

TLC Dog Training holds classes in dog training. Class size is limited. All dogs must have current immunizations. Handlers must be 18 years of age or older. Admission to classes is at the discretion of the instructor and the dog must be on a 6ft. lead.

TLC offers one-on-one sessions available at your home.

We also offer private dog training "Pack Parties" for neighborhoods and communities in mid-Michigan including: Concord, Parma, Springport, Homer, Eaton Rapids, Albion, greater Lansing area, greater Jackson area, etc. Special rates apply.

TLC also offers "People Services" providing quality pet care when you are out of town, or just taking a long day trip; we will feed, water, take your dog for a walk, or even a car ride!

Partnerships

TLC Dog Training is currently working with Tractor Supply Company holding a series of classes in the Albion and greater Jackson area.

TLC Dog Training offers dog bite prevention training to make the service/delivery personnel in your company safer.
